While visiting the buffalo heard at the Caprock State Park, i was informed this herd was the last of the great southern herd and owed its survival to Charles Goodnight. They were scattered around land grazing, but i saw this lone buffalo watching, and they thought came that here is a survivor.

CARTOONING

Ostriches in fine attire,

They loved to show what they acquire.

All a glitter, all a glow.

Proud ones all, they spent the dough.

But wait, hold on, what do they see

But a beautiful emu , who was carefree.

Go away, run away,  please get out,

Emu’s adorned can not be about.

But yes she can, we shouldn’t  exclude,

But rather invite, and be no prude.

Emu's observe ants

Two emus watched in wonder

As many ants took their plunder.

This way that way, what will we do,

Should we speak I have no clue.

I guess its fine to let them pass

Them work so hard, they work so fast.

Seven men sat in a boat,

praying so hard to stay afloat.

Some would steer, some would ride.

Some would argue with the tide.

Destiny's hand will guide them though,

and their arrival to land could be so slow.

Jasper the thumper, could thump all day

he made the sound, he made it pay.

So messages and news, he proudly  proclaimed

A community bulletin board he once exclaimed

he'd get up early and start at dawn.

for messages and news he'd pass it on,

The book is read, but no one listens,

I'll reach around to sugar the pot,

But you must add milk while it is hot.

But I have the ingredients, i'll stir em quick.

While she slips in the spice saying you won't get sick.

The pan is hot, don't get in my way,

too cook a meal won't be this day.

The book is red, but no one listens.
